General Pant’s music label Major Label has merged the bubble artist mentoring program and signed a new act, The Khanz.
In a statement, Leanne Sheraton, General Manager – Marketing and Online for General Pants said, “Rolling Major Label into the bubble community is really exciting as it gives us so many more opportunities for General Pants to create exposure and marketing opportunities for our new signings. We’ve pulled together a two months “artists package” which will involve incorporating
the singles of our bands in up to eight marketing videos and then exploding these out through the General Pants Facebook page, our website and our YouTube channel.
“Linking Major Label up with the bubble also gives us the opportunity to connect artists so in the foreseeable future we will be using bubble artists to design album covers and bubble videographers to produce bands first film clip. We’ll be throwing to our 700 highly connected and passionate staff in addition to our 100,000 strong community to put forward brands within the bubble for signing, we’ll be getting the community to vote on their favourites and then will be relying on this network to spread the word.
“Our fashion forward community are passionate about music, arts and culture so housing all of our community initiatives within the bubble really connects all of the dots. We believe in grass roots community initiatives and the bubble epitomises everything that is great about General Pants.”
Sydney band The Khanz have released their new son ‘Lost Control’ via the Major Label label and fans now have the opportunity to put together a video for the song.
