A host of Australia’s biggest alternative artists pay tribute to The Wiggles on a new album Rewiggled.
Celebrating the twentieth anniversary of our greatest kids’ music exports, The Wiggles, twenty-one of Australia’s best-loved alternative acts and brightest up-and-comers have covered their classics.
The Living End do ‘Hot Potato’, Sarah Blasko does ‘I Love It When It Rains’, Bluejuice do ‘Wake Up, Jeff!’, Oh Mercy does ‘Toot Too Chugga Chugga Big Red Car’, Steve Lane and the Autocrats do ‘Fruit Salad and Architecture In Helsinki do ‘Wiggly Party’.
There’s also Spiderbait, Washington, Jebediah, Clare Bowditch, Frenzal Rhomb, Busby Marou, Adalita, The Audreys, Papa VS Pretty, The Snowdroppers, Angie Hart, Dead Letter Chorus, Sons Of Rico, Paul Greene, and Sampology doing a mash-up remix.
Rewiggled: A Tribute To The Wiggles will be released on ABC Music on November 4.
