The Manfreds, the group formerly known as Manfred Mann, will tour Australia to mark their 50th anniversary.
The Manfreds are the reunion group of the former Manfred Mann minus their founding member, also called Manfred Mann.
The Manfreds features original singer Paul Jones who sang on ‘Da Wah Diddy Diddy’, Oh No Not My Baby’ and ‘If You Gotta Go, Go Now’ and ‘Pretty Flamingo’.
Mike d’Abo, Mike’s replacement in 1966, is also in the current band. D’Abo sang on the hits ‘Ragamuffin Man’, ‘Ha Ha Said The Clown’ and ‘The Mighty Quinn’. He also composed the hit song ‘Handbags and Gladrags’, recorded by Rod Stewart and Jon English.
