Miami Tex-Mex band The Mavericks will headline the Gympie Music Muster in Australia in August.

The Mavericks, lead by Raul Malo, started in 1999 and between 1991 and 2003 released six albums for breaking up. They reformed in 2012 and recently released the new record ‘In Time’.

Other acts named for the Gympie Muster 2013 are Troy Cassar-Daley, Catherine Britt, Adam Brand, Sara Storer, Graeme Connors, James Blundell, Sleepy Man Banjo Boys (USA), Topp Twins (NZ), Mental As Anything, Kevin Welch (USA) Amber Lawrence, Chelsea Basham, Kaylens Rain, Anne Kirkpatrick, Graham Rodger, Roo Arcus, Kirsty Akers, Reg Poole (Oam), The Bostocks, The Casuarinas, Jeff Brown, Wilson Pickers, Tamara Stewart and Blue Eyes Cry.

The Gympie Music Muster is on from August 22 to 25 in Gympie, Queensland.
