The Mavis’s Reunite For 20th Anniversary of Pink Pills

The Mavis’s are on mission from God, they are getting the band back together for a 20th anniversary tour to celebrate their ‘Pink Pills’ album.

‘Pink Pills’, the second album for The Mavis’s, reached no 12 in Australia in 1998. (Back then no 12 actually meant something).

The album generated four singles in ‘Naughty Boy’, ‘Cry’, ‘Lever’ and ‘Puberty Song’. ‘Cry’ reached no 13 (again, that meant something then … it went Gold).

The Mavis’s made one more album after ‘Pink Pills’, ‘Rapture’ was released in 2003, two years after the band broke up.

The Mavis’s with Beki Thomas, Matt Thomas and Nik Damiel, performed a one-off show in Melbourne in December 2014. Those three members will tour for the first time in 15 years with some interesting guests.
