The Meanies will reform in October for a lap of Australia to celebrate their 25 years.

The Meanies Silver Jubilee tour will kick off in Perth on October 3 and head to Adelaide, Sydney, Hobart, Brisbane and Melbourne.

Link Meanie (Link McLennan), Ringo Meanie (Mark Hobbs) and Wally Meanie (Roderick Kempton) formed The Meanies in Melbourne in 1989.

All of The Meanies records were released independently. The first album ‘Come ‘n See’ was released in 1992 through Au Go Go.
