UK post punk band The Members will return to Australia for shows for the first time in 34 years in November.

The Members, from Camberley, UK, formed in 1976 and released four albums between 1979 and 1983. The final album ‘Uprhythm, Downbeat’ in 1983 contained the song ‘Radio’ that became a major hit in Australia peaking at no. 5 in June, 1982.

By 1983, it was all over and the band broke up and didn’t get back together again until 2007.

In 2010, Rat Scabies of The Damned joined the line-up. Original members JC Carroll and Chris Payne together with Rat Scabies will perform for the Australian tour.

Dates for The Members for Minovation are:

November 12, Melbourne, The Corner Hotel
November 13, Brisbane, Prince of Wales Nundah
