Newcastle four-piece The Patriots have topped the final Buzz Chart in the Red Bull Bedroom Jam competition.

The young power-poppers topped the ninth and final Buzz chart with their track ‘Oceanel’. The Patriots are: Joseph Geyer on guitar and lead vocals, Jordan Avellis on lead guitar and backing vocals, Sebastian Consani on bass, keys, and backing vocals, and Joseph van Lier on drums.

This means they go through to get a webcast for their band through the Red Bull Bedroom Jam site. Go Mason Go won the first Backyard Jam, and The Patriots will compete against the other BUZZ chart winners at the second Backyard Jam for the chance to win a slot on Homebake.
