When you investigate The Rebel Light you find an abundance of references to The Mamas and the Papas, Beach Boys and The Doors.
The suggestion from those various references is that The Rebel Light is a Californian band influenced by a Californian past.
The Rebel Light started out in Los Angeles, California in 2013 and happily describe their sound as “Hazy, retro-sounding Southern-Californian indie.”
