One surprise guest at the premiere was ex-Stones bass player who also chatted with his old band mates in their first public appearance together in over 20 years.

Brett Morgan’s movie about the Stones was the highlight of the London Film Festival. Director Morgan said in a statement, “Crossfire Hurricane invites the audience to experience first-hand the Stones’ nearly mythical journey from outsiders to rock n’ roll royalty. It’s an aural and visual rollercoaster ride.”

The movie features previously unseen footage from the Stones including their cover of The Beatles ‘I’ve Just Seen A Face’ (below).

The red carpet and movie was also broadcast to cinemas across Great Britain.
