The Rolling Stones played a warm-up gig in Paris last night (October 25) and apart from the new song ‘Doom and Gloom’ the audience was played the usual suspects.
The Stones opened with ‘Route 66’, the song written by Bobby Troup in 1946 and first made famous by Nat King Cole that same year before the Stones recorded it in 1964.
‘Doom and Gloom’ from the upcoming 50th anniversary Greatest Hits album was midway through the 12 song set.
The show was a warm-up for the four Rolling Stones shows in the UK and USA in November and December.
