The Rolling Stones are going back on the road for a European tour.
Since late 2012, the Stones have been regulars on tour, with 96 shows over five years, despite drummer Charlie Watts saying the band is too old for lengthy tours.
Watts is the oldest of the band at 75 while Mick Jagger and Keith Richards are both 73 and Ronnie Wood the baby at 69 (he turns 70 in June).
The new tour will cover twelve European cities with thirteen concerts (there are two in Paris) with the band promising unexpected tracks each night. They also promise “a spectacular new production and state of the art stage design.”
Jagger said, “I’m so excited to be touring Europe this Autumn and returning to some familiar places and some we’ve never done before.”
