Blues-rockers The Rubens celebrate their new album with an art installation in Sydney and an extra show.
The Rubens are on the crest of something big. Their self-titled debut is due out this Friday and has been chosen as the triple j Album of The Week and to capitalise on it, they’ve got a first at Sydney Oxford Art Factory.
The band have teamed up with duo Greedy Hen to create an installation based on the album artwork at the OAF Cube from September 16 to 22.
On the eve of their national album tour with Bertie Blackman, they’ve also announced that their Sydney Metro Theatre show has sold out. So, they’ve added another for October 18, right at the end of the tour. Tickets are available from the venue and Ticketek.
