Irish pop-rockers The Script will appear in Sydney for a single show later in the month.
The band are plugging their third album #3, out today, and to celebrate they’ve announced a solitary Sydney show. It’ll be at The Metro on September 24, and tickets go on sale from noon next Tuesday 11 September.
They’ll performing their hits, as well as samples from the new album. It was recorded in London and produced by members Danny O’Donoghue and Mark Sheehan, with help from Irish producer Jimbo Barry and mixed by Mark ‘Spike’ Stent who has worked on albums from Coldplay, Muse and Oasis.
Frontman Danny O’Donoghue says of the album, “There’s a synergy to three. If you delve in to it – which we tend to do with everything – it’s a lucky number, in the past a religious number.”
The first single ‘Hall Of Fame’, featuring will.i.am, has already scored two and a half million views on YouTube. Add to that by checking it out below.
