The Tea Party Transmission Artwork Is At Home With Its Creator Stuart Chatwood

‘The Earth We Inherit’, the painting used for the cover art of The Tea Party’s ‘Transmission’ album is housed with its creator, the band’s bass player Stuart Chatwood.

Drummer Jeff Burrows has confirmed the location of the artwork with Noise11.com. “I believe he has it hanging in his home in Vancouver,” he says.

Jeff says ‘The Earth We Inherit’ is often incorrectly assumed by fans to be a large painting. “I always think of it like a Mona Lisa,” he said. “You think it’s really big but its actually quite small”.

Painting is a regular pastime for Chatwood but he is also involved with the gaming industry. “Stuart is busy first and foremost with his young kids and secondly, beyond The Tea Party, with his video game music. He composes for video games and keeps quite busy”. He has created music for eight ‘Prince of Persia’ games.
