The Third Man Vault subscription series has delivered some goodies, but the twelfth installment is a special one.
The 7-inch features two Raconteurs songs – ‘Open Your Eyes’ and ‘You Make a Fool Out of Me’ – which have since been repurposed by member Brendan Benson for his solo albums.
The LP is a Karen Elson live performance from 2010, housed in a special “interactive” sleeve, but the big news is the ‘bonus’ item – a live White Stripes DVD titled Under New Zealand Lights.
It features performances from their first international tour in 2000, where they visited New Zealand, and from a later Kiwi tour where they performed in front of kids at a primary school.
