The Wombats will play a one-off sideshow for Sydney in January.
The band will return to the Hordern Pavilion on January 3, 2016 while they are in Australia for the Falls Festivals at Byron Bay and Marion Bay as well as the Soundbound Festival.
The Wombats have released three albums. ‘A Guide To Love, Loss & Desperation’ reached no 35 in Australia in 2007, ‘The Modern Glitch’ peaked at no 2 in 2011 and the most recent album ‘Glitterbug’ reached no 2 in 2015.
The only song by The Wombats to go Top 40 in Australia was ‘Tokyo (Vampires & Wolves)’ in 2010.
