Aussie entertainer Tim Campbell will cover the songs of the 70s and 80s with his next album ‘High School Disco’.
‘High School Disco’ will feature the high school dance songs from artists like Simple Minds, Madonna, J. Geils Band and The Knack.
“We are now a step closer to the release of High School Disco and I couldn’t be any more excited and slightly “good nervous”. I’m really proud of the fresh production on this album, and can’t wait to share the joy of these memorable and much loved songs”, says Tim.
He will also take the songs on the road for a national tour starting in Adelaide on June 12.
“As far as the tour goes, don’t get me started, I may have a little accident in my pants,” Tim said. “I am overly excited about sharing the music from High School Disco, plus many more of the great songs of the 70s and 80s. There’s nothing better than singing live with the band and sharing the night with an audience. I expect a few requests and perhaps old school flames to rekindle too. I can guarantee this will be a night of absolute FUN.”
‘High School Disco will be released on ABC through Universal on April 4.
