Harry Angus will make The Cat Empire European tour a working family holiday with news that Tinpan Orange-fronted by his wife Emily Lubitz will open for his band on the tour.
The Cat Empire will begin their European tour in Berlin on 27 October then travel through The Netherlands, Belgium, France and Spain.
Emily and Harry married in 2010 and have two children. Musically, the collaborations go back to the first Tinpan Orange album ‘Aroona Palace’ recorded in 2005 which featured Harry and Ollie McGill of The Cat Empire. Harry also produced the third Tinpan orange album ‘The Bottom of the Lake’ in 2009, contributed to ‘Over The Sun’ in 2012 and wrote and produced the recent song ‘You’re Not There’.
