Platinum-selling R&B group TLC announce that they’ll tour, bringing the late Lisa ‘Left Eye’ Lopes back to life on the big screen.
TMZ reports that the girl group are preparing a reunion tour for 2012, and Tionne ‘T-Boz’ Watkins and Rozonda ‘Chilli’ Thomas will bring Left Eye back, but sadly not in holographic form.
Lisa ‘Left Eye’ Lopes died in a car accident in Honduras in 2002, exactly ten years ago today. She released a solo album in 2001 and had another planned before her death.
TLC will screen archival footage and broadcast recorded vocals to bring Left Eye along for the ride, which reportedly already has five dates booked.
They released four albums during their career, and became the second highest-selling American girl group of all time, with massive hits like ‘Waterfalls’ and ‘No Scrubs’. Have a flashback below.
