Melbourne singer-songwriter Toby Rand has a new solo project he calls RAND.
Toby has launched the debut single for RAND titled ‘Cellophane World’. He set to work with musical director, Tony Bruno and Grammy-winning songwriter/producer Alex Geringas, then recruited Mark Needham to mix the debut solo album, due later this year through Chugg Music.
‘Cellophane World’ is the first taste of the album. In 2006 he had his name in the USA as a contest on Rock Star: Supernova. He came in third place.
Toby Rand was frontman for Melbourne’s Juke Kartel. He has toured the US with Slash, Ozzy Osbourne, Fuel and Australia with Nickelback and Seether.
