Todd Rundgren Short Doco Released

by Roger Wink, VVN Music on May 26, 2017

in News

A few years back, Todd Rundgren started the Spirit in Harmony Foundation, an organization that raises the awareness of the benefits of music education while establishing programs for instrument-based education starting at the elementary school level.

Last September (2016), he brought his interest in music education to the university level by becoming an artist-in-residence at Notre Dame where he taught a number of classes, performed with student bands, worked with both teachers and students in the South Bend/Mishawaka community, organized used instruments for donation to students in need and presented The Singring Award from Rundgren’s Spirit of Harmony Foundation to university alumnus Bill Hurd.

His time at Notre Dame has been chronicled in a new fifteen-minute documentary by the university.
