Triple J Breakfast Out-Rates The Commercial Stations

Public servant Triple J employees Matt and Alex have out-rated Austereo’s mega-paid Rove by more than double in today’s radio ratings.

2JJJ rated a 71. Share in breakfast beating Rove on 2DAY with a 3.0 share, as well as 2MMM with 6.9, Nova with 6.3 and SmoothFM with 7.3. WSFM and KIISFM were the only commercial FM’s beating Triple J breakfast in Sydney.

Triple J also had the no 1 FM morning show in Sydney with a 9.1 share beating all six commercial FM stations 2DAYFM, KIIS1065, 2MMM, Nova96.9, SmoothFM and WSFM.

Triple J was the no 1 station for 18-24 year olds in Sydney and also rated no 2 for 25-39 years olds behind KIIS1065.

The ABC station also had a 7.8 share overall in Sydney beating 2DAYFM (4.2), 2MMM (6.7), Nova96.9 (5.9) and SmoothFM (6.9).

It was the no 3 FM station in Sydney behind KIIS (9.4) and WSFM (8.1).
