Irish indie rockers Two Door Cinema Club ready the follow-up to their debut, titled Beacon.
The trio released Tourist History in 2010 and went on to become a UK festival staple, which extended to US appearances at Lollapalooza and Bonnaroo and even an Australian tour.
NME announces that they’re preparing to release their follow-up Beacon. It was recorded in April in LA with Jacknife Lee, who has produced for U2 and REM.
Singer Alex Trimble said, “Beacon is a much more intimate record than our first, but at the same time, it’s much bigger and more inclusive. Trying to find that balance has been our goal for a long time and this record takes us one step closer to the band we’ve dreamt of becoming.”
The 11-track album will be released on September 3. Check out their Beacon trailer below.
