U2 Shares Live Version of New Song ‘The Blackout’

U2 is slowly letting their fans in on what is in store for their upcoming album, Songs of Experience.

Scheduled on and off since 2015, details on the album will finally be announced next week with the first official single, “You’re the Best Thing About Me”, out on Wednesday, September 6.

In the meantime, the band released and eighteen-second snippet of the song “The Blackout” yesterday and, on Wednesday (August 30), put out a live version of the new song.
