A Police investigation into the death of a 22-year-old man at V Festival in Weston Park, Staffordshire, have confirmed that the death is “not suspicious” reports xfm.co.uk.
Timothy Brockhurst, 22, was found in an unresponsive state in a tent at the festival.
The security attempted to revive Mr Brockhurst until an on-site doctor and paramedics arrived, but they were unable to save him.
Police confirmed the area had been sealed off for forensic examination, and statements were taken from his friends.
Mr Brockhurst’s immediate family has been told of the tragedy.
Chief Inspector Carl Ratcliffe, said: “We are very saddened by the tragic death of this young man and we are working to establish the full facts and build a picture of his actions in the few hours before his death.”
A spokesman for V Festival also said: “We are all very saddened by this tragic incident, and we want to extend our deepest sympathies to the family of this young man.
“Our team worked throughout the night to support those affected at the festival site and we want to thank everyone for their co-operation.”
