Uriah Heep will return to Australia in March
70s metal legends Uriah Heep, who in their day ranked alongside Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath and Deep Purple, will tour Australia in March 2015.
The original Uriah Heep formed in London in 1969 and released their debut album ‘Very ‘eavy Very ‘umble’ in June 1970 featuring the track ‘Gypsy’.
Uriah Heep were mainly a live band that sold albums but started to generate airplay with ‘Easy Living’ (1972), ’Stealin’ (1973) and ‘Free Me’ (1977). ‘Stealin’ was a number one hit in New Zealand.
