Carling, the nation’s favourite lager and official beer of V Festival is bringing the infamous Channel Carling tent to this year’s V Festival in both Chelmsford and Stafford.
Building on its huge success at the Isle of Wight Festival, Channel Carling will be bringing a unique mix of interactive entertainment to the crowds with a mash-up of Hip Hop Karaoke, top DJs, music quizzes and a very special surprise guest.
All weekend long DJs from the Heavenly Jukebox will be hitting the decks, but Channel Carling is about more than moving your feet. Festival goers can also put their musical knowledge to the test with the Sounds Familiar quiz, featuring the hilarious raps of MC Quizzical and take the mic and wave their hands like they just don’t care with legendary Hip Hop Karaoke.
‘The festival crowd really get into Hip Hop Karaoke, the atmosphere in the tent is amazing’ said Carling Brand Director, Jeremy Gibson. ‘Even those heading to the main stage were stopping in their tracks to watch the big screen and with a few surprises lined up, V Festival is going to be special’
Visitors to V Festival should keep an eye on the Channel Carling screen for listings throughout the weekend and more information on when the crowd might be surprised to see a familiar face take the mic. The party will also go on late into the night as once the headliners leave the stage the Channel Carling silent disco will begin.
