Here we go again … Van Halen has dropped all dates on their current tour after June 26.
The last official place for the Van Halen tour will be New Orleans. After June 26, the shows scheduled for Salt Lake City, El Paso, Philadelphia, Baltimore, E. Rutherford, Detroit, Cleveland, Cincinnati, Memphis, Spokane, Reno, Fresno, Wichita and Milwaukee have been put on hold.
Van Halen has offered no explanation and no indication as to when or if the tour will resume.
Shows up until June 26 will go ahead. The next Van Halen concert is this Saturday, May 19 in St. Paul.
California dates including the hometown Los Angeles gigs at the Staples Center on June 1 and 9 remain intact.
This was Van Halen’s first tour with David Lee Roth in 28 years in support of their reunion album ‘A Different Kind of Truth’. It was also the first Van Halen album since the departure of founding member Michael Anthony with Eddie Van Halen’s son Wolfgang replacing Anthony on bass.
Michael Anthony is now a member of Chickenfoot with former Van Halen singer Sammy Hagar.
