The Van Halen dates postponed last month have now been officially cancelled.
In May David Lee Roth posted a video explaining that there was nothing sinister in the postponed dates so that fans would not read anything into it. Roth suggested the tour would resume after the band learned Australian accents leading to speculation of an Australian tour but now it seems no-one is getting anything from Van Halen soon.
Last week stories even circulated that Van Halen would be performing at the 2013 Super Bowl.
The A Different Kind Of Truth tour began in Louisville, Kentucky on February 18.
The only statement about the shows being cancelled came from David Lee Roth who said they “bit off more than they could chew”.
31 gigs have been boned from the US tour. Fans with tickets for any shows after June 28 will now be offered a full refund.
