Vance Joy has a Top 20 hit in the UK with ‘Riptide’

The Melbourne singer songwriter leapt from 35 to 18 to score his first hit in England.

James Keogh, aka Vance Joy, released his first EP ‘God Loves You When You’re Dancing’ in March 2013. That same month he also showcased at the SXSW music conference in Austin, Texas. He will be back at SXSW in March.

Atlantic Records in the USA heard Vance Joy and signed him to a five-album deal.

‘Riptide’ peaked at no. 7 on Australia’s ARIA chart and sold 3x platinum.

Vance Joy will perform dates in the UK, Europe and North America starting at Scala, London on February 11.
