Vanessa Amorosi To Join Dave Stewart For Hollywood Bowl Beatles Show

Australia’s Vanessa Amorosi will be Dave Stewart’s special guest for his The Beatles 50th At The Bowl show in August.

Stewart will recreate The Beatles’ Hollywood Bowl show of 1964 over three nights at the Bowl on August 23, 23 and 24.

The show will feature the 1964 setlist in the first half and then a Beatles greatest hits show for part two.

The show will feature:

Dave Stewart, ringmaster
Vanessa Amorosi, vocals
Michelle Branch, vocals (except Friday)
Billy Ray Cyrus, vocals
Mary Lambert, vocals (except Saturday)
Martina McBride, vocals (except Friday)
Allen Stone, vocals
Liv Warfield, vocals
Bob Eubanks, vocals

Vanessa Amorosi sold 4 times Platinum with her first album ‘The Power’ in Australia in 2000. Her most recent album ‘Hazardous’ (2009) reached no. 7 on the ARIA chart.

Shortly after the release of ‘Hazardous’ Vanessa relocated to Los Angeles.

Stewart recruited Amorosi for his ‘Lucky Numbers’ album. She sings vocals on ‘Drugs Taught Me A Lesson’ and ‘How To Ruin A Romance’ as well as ‘What Is Wrong With Me?’.
