Metallica and Lou Reed have put together at 12-minute video about the origins of their joint album ‘Lulu’.

Lars Ulrich calls Lou Reed “a solo version of Metallica who continues to reinvent himself and challenge his fans”.

The collaboration started when Metallica inducted Lou Reed into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Reed calls the collaboration “a dream come true”.

‘Lulu’ by Lou Reed and Metallica will be released in Australia on Monday and the rest of the world next Tuesday.
