One of the hot New Years Eve spots for Melbourne this year is the Vika and Linda Bull New Years Eve show at MEMO Music Hall, St Kilda with Cookin’ on 3 Burners joining in for the party.

The Vika and Linda Bull New Year’s Eve show could very well also turn out to be a sneak preview of what to expect musically from the sisters in 2019. Vika and Linda haven’t released a studio album of new and original songs since 2002 but the word is a new album will be coming as early as February 2019.

Vika and Linda are Melbourne music royalty so its no wonder Paul Kelly, Dan Kelly and Kasey Chambers are rumoured to have collaborated on the new record.

Will any of the songs debut at MEMO Music Hall on New Years Eve? I have no idea. You’ll have to be there to find that out.

Vika and Linda released their debut album in 1994. It featured songs by Mark Seymour, Paul Kelly, Joe Camilleri, Stephen Cummings and Nick Barker. The ‘Vika and Linda’ album was nominated for the ARIA Breakthrough Artist – Album award but lost to Silverchair ‘Frogstomp’.

Get tickets for Vika and Linda’s New Years Eve show at MEMO.
