Violent Femmes Announce Australian Tour Dates for 2020

Violent Femmes, the former 100% American band, now two-parts USA and one-part Australian, will tour Australia in 2020.

The tour will kick off in bass player Brian Ritchie’s hometown Hobart. Brian left the northern American city of Milwaukee more than a decade ago to take up residence in Hobart. He is now an Australian citizen.

Milwaukee artists include Steve Miller, Liberace, Les Paul, The Bodeans, Al Jarreau, Speech and Les Paul. The TV shows Happy Days and Laverne and Shirley were also set in Milwaukee.
