Melbourne singer songwriter Hamish Anderson had a little help from some impressive friends for his debut E.P. including a member of The Wallflowers.
Rami Jaffee, a founding member of The Wallflowers and occasional keyboard player of Foo Fighters played on 21-year old indie artist Anderson’s debut E.P.
The E.P. also features bass player Rob Calder (Angus & Julia Stone) and drummer James Hauptman (Bluejuice).
The five track E.P. was recorded at BJB Studio in Sydney with producer Eric J. Dubowsky. The single ‘Howl’ is the uptempo track on the EP. “It was written reasonably fast, I heard the riff in my head and that really drove the entire song and its feel,” explains Hamish.
Hamish Anderson released his first single ‘Howl’ and the E.P. on April 19 and will showcase the release on May 1 at The Toff in Melbourne.
