Melbourne’s Oscar winning actor Cate Blanchett is the star on the new Massive Attack video ‘The Spoils’.
Australian director John Hillcoat directed Massive Attack ‘The Spoils’. He is best know for his movie ‘The Proposition’. Hillcoat also made the INXS documentary ‘Swing and Other Stories’ as well as music videos for Elvis Costello (Veronica), Neil Finn (Sinner), Depeche Mode (I Feel Loved), Nick Cave (Babe I’m On Fire), Muse (Time Is Running Out) and Bob Dylan (Vision of Johanna).
Cate Blanchett won an Academy Award as Best Actress In A Supporting Role in ‘The Aviator’. She is a seven times Oscar nominee. She has appeared in ‘Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull’, ‘The Curious Case of Benjamin Button’ and ‘The Hobbit’.
‘The Spoils’ was released with ‘Come Near Me’. The songs are the first new music for Massive Attack since 2011’s ‘Four Walls’.
