Watch Cyndi Lauper Go Country With 'Funnel of Love'

Cyndi Lauper has released the official video for the track Funnel of Love from her upcoming country album Detour.

Funnel of Love was written by Charlie McCoy and Kent Westbury and recorded by Wanda Jackson in 1960. It was the b-side of Jackson’s single Right or Wrong which went to number 9 on both the Billboard Country & Western and Adult Contemporary charts and 29 on the Hot 100. While Funnel was the lesser known of the two tracks, it has gone on to be a favorite of fans and critics. It wasn’t included on any Jackson albums until 1992’s Bear Family Records Jackson box set.

Detour, Lauper’s eleventh studio album, will be released on May 2 via Sire Records. Tony Brown produced.
