Uptown Funk is positioning itself to be one of the classic hits of the last fifty years.
The Mark Ronson song, featuring Bruno Mars, has spent fourteen weeks at the top of the U.S. charts, tied the record for the most weeks in the top five and, even after six months of relentless play on the radio, it still sounds fresh.
Unfortunately, Ronson can’t take Bruno Mars everywhere with him so he needs to find a substitute and he did it three times over at Glastonbury Friday night, bringing out George Clinton, Grandmaster Flash and Mary J. Blige to perform on the song.
Here’s the performance, courtesy of the BBC.
