Following his third place in the Hottest 100 and a massive chart climb, revisit Matt Corby’s ‘Brother’ and a chat at Noise11.

Since Corby came into the Noise11 studios, his star has been rising exponentially (we can’t quite take responsibility for that, though).

‘Brother’, from his ‘Into The Flame’ EP, was voted as the third best song of 2011 by triplej listeners in Australia Day’s Hottest 100. He recently sold out five Corner Hotel shows in a row, equaling Megan Washington’s record. And on this week’s singles chart, his EP shot up to number eight, from 42 last week.

So to celebrate, check out his gutsy performance of three tracks from the EP live in our studios: ‘Big Eyes’, ‘Brother’, and ‘Untitled’. And check out our chat with him about the genesis of the EP and his renewed career below.
