Neil Finn will record his next album ‘Out of Silence’ this afternoon at 5 pm (East Coast Australia time) and you can watch him do it live.

Finn will stream the recording of ‘Out of Silence’ from his Roundhead studio in Auckland via his Facebook page www.facebook.com/neilmullanefinn

A digital version of the album will be released next Friday, September 1 and the physical CD will be available from September 15.

Finn previewed the album with two tracks ‘More Than One Of You’ and ‘Second Nature’ recorded earlier this month. Both songs were streamed on iHeartRadio Music News, powered by Noise11.com.

Last Friday he performed his Crowded House classic ‘Weather With You’ and three of his Split Enz classics ‘Whats The Matter With You’, ‘Shark Attack’ and ‘I Got You’, as well as solo songs live from the studio.

Neil has invited a choir of friends and family to join him for the recording of this album, his son Elroy rotating from bass, guitar to percussion, and a handpicked chamber orchestra.
