ARIA Award winning Russell Morris has released a new video for his song ‘Eureka’.
Footage for the ‘Eureka’ video was sourced from the 1949 Australian movie ‘Eureka Stockade’ starring starring Chips Rafferty, Jane Barrett, Jack Lambert & Gordon Jackson and directed by Harry Watt.
The song marks 160 years since the Eureka Stockade.
‘Eureka’, from Russell’s critically claimed ‘Sharkmouth’ sequel ‘Van Dieman’s Land’, was co-written by Russell and his good friend Ed Nimmervoll, who passed away on October 10.
‘Van Dieman’s Land’ was recorded at Mitch Cairns’ Little Red Jet Melbourne studios and features Rob Hirst of Midnight Oil in drums.
