‘The Boy Castaways’, the bizarre new movie starring Paul Capsis, Tim Rogers and Megan Washington, will have its world premiere at the Adelaide Film Festival on October 13.
‘The Boy Castaways’ is the first film by theatre director Michael Kantor.
Kantor, a former Malthouse Theatre artistic director, received his funding for the film for South Australia’s Hive Production Fund in 2011. Stephen Armstrong, also a former Malthouse producer is one of the films executive producers.
They describe there movie as “a metaphysical thriller that sees four men drawn into a grand cabaret of the soul”.
Following the Adelaide Film Festival screening the movie will then screen at the Melbourne at The Forum on October 15 with a post show performance by Capsis, Rogers and Washington performing songs from the movie.
It will then play across Australia on the following dates:
