Rob Zombie will screen his new horror flick ‘The Lords of Salem’ at SXSW next month.

‘The Lords of Salem’ stars Zombie’s wife Sheri Moon Zombie in the main role as Heidi Hawthorne. The movie also reunites Dee Wallace with Zombie. They worked together in his ‘Halloween’ remake. Dee was the mother in ‘E.T.’.
Sadly, it is also the final movie for actor Richard Lynch whose health declined midway through shooting the film forcing Zombie to replace his part with Andrew Prine.
‘The Lords of Salem’ is the third movie from Haunted Films, following ‘Paranormal Activity’ and ‘Insidious’. Haunted Films gave Zombie full creative control of ‘The Lords of Salem’ influencing his decision to work with the company.
The trailer for the movie debuted at Zombie’s May 11, 2012 concert in New Jersey.
‘The Lords of Salem’ premiered at the Toronto Film Festival in Canada last September and will have its American premiere during SXSW Film in March in Austin, Texas.
