In 1973 this is what Dolly Parton had to say about the real Jolene, the subject of her hit song.

Dolly wrote the song about bank clerk Jolene who flirted with her husband Carl Dean just after they were married.
The song become her second number one country hit.
Well according to Dolly, she recently ran into Jolene told Jimmy Fallon, “she’s not so hot now. She used to have that beautiful red hair. Now she’s grey. She used to have a tight butt and she can’t get her butt through the door now. And she used to wear a D Cup, now she wears depends.”
