Indigenous hip-hop instigators Whitehouse bring their debut album on tour with Yung Warriors.
Fiery Newcastle hip-hop funk quartet Whitehouse released their debut album A Funky Intervention earlier this year, teaming socially-conscious politics, indigenous activism, and irresistible grooves.
They’ve been bringing their funky live instrumentation and spitfire lyricism around the country, already visiting Byron, Brisbane and Blacktown on their July tour.
Next up they visit Canberra and Melbourne with fellow indigenous hip-hoppers Yung Warriors. Then Whitehouse go back up to Port Macquarie and Wollongong, and wrap it up with Marcus Corowa in Glebe in Sydney.
Check out the clip for the slinky and righteous ‘PM Gonna Save Us’ below the tourdates. Language and political ideas may not be safe for work!
