It has been revealed that Whitney Houston died in the bath of her hotel room at the Beverly Hills Hilton.

Those close to Whitney say the singer had been drinking and talking loudly at the hotel bar shortly before returning to her room.
Her mother, gospel singer Cissy Houston spoke about how she had talked with her daughter only 30 minutes she died. Whitney was to sing at the Clive Davis pre-Grammy party later that evening and was then going to share a table with her mother and cousin, singer Dionne Warwick.
The Grammy Awards will feature a tribute to Whitney performed by Jennifer Hudson later today.
Police are investigating the death. An autopsy is expected to be done within the next 24 hours. However, there were no signs of criminal activity and police have ruled out foul play.
