Alt-country legends Wilco have announced a Melbourne show in addition to their Bluesfest visit.
Eight albums in, and Wilco are bona fide titans of alt-country, currently touring their latest effort The Whole Love.
They first visited in 2003 on the Big Day Out and were regulars over subsequent years. Jeff Tweedy and the boys hit Bluesfest in 2008 and they’re coming back over Easter next year.
Those who can’t get up to Byron, but can get to Melbourne, will be treated to a headlining show at Hamer Hall on Wednesday 27 March. Tickets for the show go on sale next Wednesday 24 October from the Arts Centre website.
