There is an untitled piece consisting solely of electronically processed voices and sounds is located between tracks 6 and 7, lasting approximately 15 seconds and an instrumental piece entitled “Embryo”, lasting approximately 2 minutes, can be found between tracks 8 and 9”

Both of the songs were in the pregap, a portion of a CD before an indexed track.

‘Transmission’ reached no 3 on the Australian album chart. The song ‘Temptation’ peaked at no 46.

‘Transmission’ was recorded at Alkemical Studios in Montreal, NRG Studios in Los Angeles and Studio Morin Heights in Morin Hills with Jeff Martin producing on behalf of the band.

The album was released on August 19, 1997.
