Wolfgang Van Halen of Van Halen is working a new album with Tremonti and maybe a solo record.
Tremonti is the current band of Mark Tremonti, the former guitarist for Creed. Eddie has been playing bass for Tremonti and will be listed as the bass player on the second Tremonti album due later this year.
“Tremonti II’ is due in May.
23-year old Wolfgang is the son of Van Halen founder Eddie Van Halen and Hot In Cleveland star Valerie Bertinelli.
Wolfie first guested at one of his dad’s shows at age 12 and in 2006 at age 15 officially joined Van Halen replacing founding member Michael Anthony on bass.
Wolfgang played on the last Van Halen album ‘A Different Kind Of Truth’ and will next be heard on the Van Halen Live album due at the end of March.
Eddie Van Halen talked about more new music from his son recently during an interview for the Smithsonian Nation Museum Of American History. During that interview Eddie suggested that their maybe a solo record also on the way from Wolfgang Van Halen by the end of the year.
